Our top-quality security elements have successfully undergone all European laboratory tests, offering at least an RC3 protection (P5A for glass) and up to class RC6 (P8B), that guarantees up to 20 minutes of forced entrance resistance.
Bulletproof resistance EN 1522:1999
At CBX we offer solutions to protect high-risk areas. Our bulletproof elements have been tested under the most adverse conditions. Certified up to FB6-NS, they can resist firearm attacks that range from a 22-calibre rifle to an AK47 Kalachnikov.

What is armoured building or physical security?
To many, the concept of armoured building or physical security may be unfamiliar. Armoured building is the use of physical protection barriers in a building’s architecture. Generally, after a previous diagnosis, strengths and weaknesses of the architecture are identified and once the specific protection needs are met, elements with state-of-the-art technology are used to shield the structure and protect it from potential attacks.
Doors, windows, shutters or joinery (whether installed or not) may be replaced by high security ones, characterized by their almost invisibility and their capacity to avoid unwanted access to restricted areas. After an in-depth analysis and depending on the degree of protection that is necessary, one model or another is identified.
Joinery is another fundamental element of armoured building and physical security. It is also regulated in accordance with the European standard EN 1522:1999 to certify it is bullet proof for different calibres. The classification goes from FB1 for calibre 22 bullets, through FB2 for 9mm bullets, FB3 for 357 Mag calibres, FB4 for 357 Mag. and 44 Rem. Mag, FB5 for rifles with a 5.56×45 calibre, FB6 for 5.56×45 and 7.62×51 to FB7 for calibre 7.62×51 with anti-armour pointer.
