What finishes can I choose for my CBX 60 door?
We offer a wide range of finishes. You can choose from any tone in the RAL color chart, a wood effect, or our exclusive anodized options (available in gloss, matte, and brushed and polished finishes). The final choice of finish depends on your aesthetic needs as well as the desired durability of the materials.
What level of security do I need?
Where will the door be installed? A home? A lottery office? An administrative office? The type and level of security required will depend on the door’s intended use. For example, lottery offices are required by ministerial order to have a minimum level of bulletproof protection of FB2. In this case, there is no room for debate, as we know that you cannot install a door with a lower level of protection. But what if the door is for your personal home? The answer is up to you. What is Rockwell hardness?
Rockwell hardness is a method used to determine a material’s resistance to indentation. It is often employed due to its simplicity: a flat material is placed on the machine’s base, and a minor load of 10 kg is applied (to eliminate elastic deformation), followed by a load ranging from 60 to 150 kg for 15 seconds. After the load is removed, the hardness value is obtained using a Rockwell hardness tester. There are two types of indenters: hardened steel spherical balls and a conical diamond indenter with a rounded apex forming a spherical cap (the latter is used for harder materials).
Why is a steel frame required in security systems?
Steel is a highly resistant material commonly used in security systems. The frame is fixed to the wall and serves as the element where the bolts anchor when the door is locked. If the frame is not compatible with the door leaf, it is likely to twist, causing the door to fall and not provide adequate protection.
What is duralumin?
Duralumin is an aluminum alloy containing copper, manganese, magnesium, and silicon. Today, it generally refers to aluminum-copper alloys (2000 series according to the International Alloy Designation System – IADS). It is highly resistant at room temperature but has low corrosion resistance and is not suitable for anodizing.
What is bumping?
Bumping is an illegal technique used to open a door by inserting a key or bump key into the door’s cylinder. After a few taps, the pins jump, and the cylinder turns. When performed correctly, this technique can open a door in seconds without making noise. To prevent this, it is recommended to use anti-bumping locks.
